How to Consign

Keno Auctions is seeking consignments throughout the year. While the vast majority of our sales are at auction, we also offer Private Sales, too. We would be delighted to review any item you wish to consign; see submission details below:

Submit Your Images

Keno Auction specialists can provide you with complimentary estimates based on photographs; simple shots in any format will do; please also provide any information you may have about the piece, its history and its condition. Submit images by email to info@kenoauctions.com or by post to Keno Auctions, 127 East 69th Street New York, NY 10021.

The free evaluation process begins when a department expert contacts you to discuss whether an auction or private sale is most suitable for your property. We will then provide an appraisal of the market value with an auction estimate. Whichever way you decide to sell your item, we will work closely with you to establish the final details and terms, taking into account your expectations as well as the current market.

Once the details for your consignment are finalized, we will send a Consignor Agreement to you, outlining the agreed upon terms including a comprehensive list of your items.

Shipping Your Property

When we have accepted an item for consignment, arrangements for getting your property to Keno Auctions can begin; we will accept your items any time prior to the consignment deadline.

Though shipping is the responsibility of the seller, Keno Auctions can assist in the process by offering suggestions for domestic and international transportation companies, for your consideration. If necessary, our Client Services Department can help you arrange to have your property delivered to our office. As the consignor, you are responsible for packing, shipping and insurance charges.

Marketing Campaigns

Once you sign a consignment agreement for the sale of your property with Keno Auctions, we will begin marketing your lots to our international client base. Your objects will be photographed and catalogued to appear in our print and online catalogue versions. An extensive promotional campaign involving public relations, print and online advertising, direct mail, special events, and a public preview will be created to promote each auction, ensuring your property is seen by countless potential buyers.
